When you’re trying so hard to control the pain triggered by a herniated disk, can you really concentrate on the things that need to be done around the house? Can you help your kids with their homework, take them to the playground, sit for 8 hours a day in a rigid chair at work and come back home only to do some late-night cleaning? Clearly, back pain is not something that can be taken lightly. When the pain is out of control, it can change who you are and impact your overall performance, as well as the quality of your most important relationships. Before seeing the NFWC chiropractors on a regular basis, both Jesi V. and Ryan D. felt that back pain was influencing most of their daily decisions.
Why We Came to NFWC
“I herniated a disk in my lower back and needed help. I knew that I was not going down the surgery road so I began to do my research for alternatives. My best friend is a network chiropractor in Washington and highly recommended that I visit the knowles office. He stated they were among the best in the world,” remembers Ryan. Ryan’s regular trips to NFWC made him realize that his friend was right.
“We heard about NFWC from a trusted friend. I love the sense of community the Knowles create here and the friendliness of the staff so I enjoy our weekly visits,” explains Jesi.
What Has Changed for Us?
A positive attitude, consistency and motivation, correlated with the gentle chiropractic adjustments delivered by the Network Family Wellness Center specialists, represent the key elements that have contributed a great deal to the remarkable evolution that both Jesi and Ryan are witnessing at this point. Ryan managed to avoid surgery, manage his pain, recover his strength and respond better to daily challenges that his work and family life may bring along the way, while Jesi is constantly working on her self-healing capabilities that she has always had, but in a latent form.
“Through consistency, my back pain resided and I was able to become more active and strong. Most importantly, I regained my ability to be a DAD and keep up with my 3 kids again! At the end of my year 1, my full spinal scans looked hugely different,” states Ryan.
At the same time, Jesi is glad that she can now embrace her hobby with an increased level of confidence and perform much better than before.“I can dance harder and stronger. I also am able to carry my growing kids longer, and feel much more connected to my innate ability to heal and feel empowered more to manifest my destiny,” affirms Jesi.
Both Jesi and Ryan are very pleased with their progress and acknowledge the fact that premium chiropractic care has made them stronger and healthier as individuals, but also as a couple sharing numerous responsibilities and happy moments.
