Bio-Hacking The Nerve System

Hacking is everywhere. You can hack smartphones, computers, e-mail, even elections. You can use life hacks, defined by Wikipedia as: shortcuts, skills, or novelty methods to increase productivity and efficiency. Did you know that you can even use hacking to help you optimize your body and get more out of life? It’s called bio-hacking. Generally, bio-hacking refers to managing one’s own biology using a combination of medical, nutritional, or even electronic techniques and devices, to make the best of your body and your experience of life. Bio-hackers believe in using knowledge, research, and experienced-based learning, to help them move towards optimal personal health and well-being, mental health, functional status, physical flexibility, mental focus, emotional ease, and more. Maximizing their well-being, function longevity, quality of life, are on most people’s list that are interested in biohacking and those are outcomes associated with optimizing their NeuroStructural system and should be a top priority.

When it comes to bio-hacking from within we really want to focus on the nerve system. The nerve system coordinates all of your bodily functions and optimizing your neural control sub-system is a major key to peak performance, efficiency and maximizing health.

The organization of your whole physiology is coordinated by your nerve system. So, in terms of bio-hacking, focusing on the brain and the central nerve system using NeuroStructural Optimization, like the work we do here at Network Family Wellness Center, should be at the top of the list. A quality-of-life retrospective research study done on Network Spinal Analysis found that people could triple the results of their wellness lifestyle activities by adding an optimized NeuroStructural system through Network care. This included lifestyle activities such as yoga, exercise, avoiding negative lifestyle choices, and healthy eating, as well as other common bio-hacks, like intermittent fasting, sleep maximization, and ketosis. Even one Network session has been found to increase brain function twenty to thirty times. In fact, taking those other steps with a nerve system that is less than optimal can be counterproductive.

Consider the vagus nerve, for example, which begins at the brain and continues along the spine to multiple organs such as the heart, lungs, and digestion system. The vagus nerve’s main function is autonomic such as digestion and heart rate regulation and its function affects your whole physiology. At Network Family Wellness Center, our focus on NeuroStructural optimization including the vagus nerve. Yes, I know people think chiropractors only focus on bones, really when we work and touch a person’s back and bones, our focus is the nerve system. By optimizing neural efficiency, removing obstructions, a person notices increased the quality of life, physical state, emotional state, and well-being. Network spinal care has been researched and shown to increase the quality of life, function, health, and well-being. And, it is the best first bio-hack for people who want more out of life.
